Gamblin 3-in-1 Oil Painting Medium

Gamblin's leanest oil painting medium, formulated with soybean and safflower oils. It's built for underpainting and prep work — thinning color for fluid, transparent washes while helping seal panels and other supports against moisture and warping.

• Thins oil paint for fluid washes and transparent tonal under-painting layers
• Dries to a subtle satin finish rather than high gloss
• Fast-drying — colors like Raw Umber can be touch-dry in 24–48 hours
• Seals wood panels and other substrates before applying an oil ground, preventing moisture absorption and warping

Important note: While 3-in-1 is ideal for preparing panels substrates for oil painting or Oil Ground, 3-in-1 is not intended to be used as a 'sealant' for fabric/paper or under acrylic primers, acrylic paint or other water based media.
