Kuretake “IPPITSU KOBAKO” is a travel-size Japanese Sumi ink set. It includes all the basics you need to begin exploring solid ink, Ink stones and Japanese calligraphy.

Includes:

• 1 x Inkstone for gently grinding your ink sticks into a liquid form
• 1 x Inkstick - a highly compressed stick of ink that allows you to control the density of your ink from creamy to watery
• A travel-size brush for use in various techniques, such as watercolour, drawing, calligraphy, writing, or any other water-based technique.
• A washi-paper box with blue cherry blossom trees foiled with gold touches.

Storage recommendations:

After use, be sure to remove moisture by gently wiping the inkstick with a cloth or paper towel, before storing back in its box.

Brush can be washed with warm water and dried by hanging from its end-loop so the bristles hang down and water does not run into your brush body.
