A mid-century collectors item, these vintage pastels were made in Japan by Guitar Brand Ind. Co., Ltd. during the 60s and 70s. They are no longer produced and we stock a number of sets in their un-used condition.
Often marketed as student-grade or beginner sets, they are considered a "mid-century" Japanese, vintage art supply, often difficult to find in un-used condition.
All our sets are un-used, with each stick in its paper wrapper, resting on their original tray, untouched and beautifully preserved. Our selection includes both their small and large sticks, and in a variety of colour-sets from 12 up to 48 colours.
